OVERVIEW
Angola's original refinery, in the capital Luanda, run under a joint-venture agreement between state Sonangol Refinarias (Sonaref) and Italy's Eni. Nominal refining capacity is 65,000 b/d; a 2022 expansion of the petrol-production complex (backed by Eni) roughly quadrupled gasoline output, targeting 450,000 tonnes/year of petrol at full capacity.
