One of PetroChina's major coastal refining bases, in Qinzhou, Guangxi, with design crude processing capacity of 10 million tonnes/year (about 200,000 b/d per third-party industry estimates — the original unit is tonnes/year, not directly comparable to the b/d figures sourced elsewhere in this directory). A $4.5bn integrated refining-chemical expansion (ethylene, gasoline hydrocracking, aromatics units) was underway with completion targeted for 2025.
