OVERVIEW
Refinery in the Baiji district of Salah ad-Din province, destroyed during the war against ISIL and rebuilt by state North Refineries Company (NRC) staff; reopened 23 November 2017 with a 20,000 b/d nameplate. A further expansion completed in December 2024 raised capacity from 30,000 to 50,000 b/d via two new 10,000 b/d production units -- completing NRC's four-site Kirkuk/Haditha/Qayyarah/Siniya lineup in this directory.
